A Celebration…

a celebration...

a celebration…

My daughter has been eyeing this wine in my cellar for some time, she loved the bottles’ shape. I purchased it for a celebration of something… anything. But it had to be special.
Finding out her end of term, 3rd year University Abnormal Psych paper received 98% was reason enough for me!
Garnet coloured, with aromas of dark cherry, meat, barnyard, under growth, pepper and herbs: lavender, rosemary, and garrique. Leather, juniper, pepper and red cherry on the palate. Gorgeous full bodied mouth feel, bit of heat from the alcohol level. A less expensive, approachable entry level CdP. Paired with a lasagna …not a brilliant pairing, but a fine Sunday dinner!
